(Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Granada & Malaga)
While on exchange I did many crazy things, and one of them was to travel all by myself~ to Spain for two weeks. When I mean travelling alone, I mean not travelling to a place to meet your friend/live with your friend, then venturing out in the day on your own. But literally flying to a foreign land, living, eating, sightseeing – ALL ALONE. (How-to guide to renting cars and Jeju Itinerary!)
Last month, Ceph and I decided to pay a visit to my old-second home. Throwback to the days where I used to visit Korea at least once every year..... and right now UK is my new second home as I can see myself shuttling between the two countries since there is still awhile till Ceph completes his degree there...

A place worthy of a day trip once you get bored in Milan would be: Lake Como (or Lago di Como if you like it Italian) Lake Como is near to the border where Italy shares with Switzerland and Austria. The weather there gets significantly cooler as it is near to the Italian Alps. We went there towards the end of summer and though it was a fine sunny day, when it got windy, we still felt a Princess Snail♔http://www.blogger.com/profile/11371635602906355315noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8653802175156974808.post-77508557620251029942017-05-24T21:56:00.000+08:002017-05-24T21:56:23.616+08:0024 hrs in Milano
This is going to be a fairly short post as implied by the title, 24 hrs in Milan. There's nothing really much to do in this city, and we went out for a day trip to Lake Como on our second day in Milan. Absolutely no regrets in doing so. I felt like I just came to this city to 1. See the cathedral 2. See my friend who is on exchange here (Hi Gen if you're reading this!!!!)

Cinque Terre, or the 5 Terre, is a coastal region made up of 5 beautiful towns on the rugged Italian Riviera. The towns overlook the seemingly endless Ligurian Sea.
I always like comparing the 5 Terre to 5 sisters tucked away from the eye of the mainstream crowd that spends their time in the bigger, and more glamorous cities of Italy like Rome, or Milan. One of the items to tick off in my London bucketlist was to cycle from Westminster back to Borough (where I lived in London). However, though bicycle rental stations are prevalent in London, it is extremely dangerous to cycle in London. Don't ever try if you are not an experienced cyclist. Even if you are, it is still pretty dangerous.
Since the cycling option is out, I chose to walk. The best way to start your mornings in London if you're on the South of Thames is to head to Borough Market!
